La Aurora Corojo

La Aurora Corojo blend was released toward the end of 2010 and is constructed using an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper (a bit less spicy than the traditional Corojo wrappers), Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and a mix of Corojo, NIcaraguan and Habano tobaccos for the filler. At first glance the La Aurora Corojo cigar might appear a bit rugged, but upon careful inspection the single cap is neatly placed, the wrapper is a rich, oily golden brown sheen, and it is moderately packed giving it a bit of spring when squeezed.

As for the tasting notes on the La Aurora Corjo cigar you might discover that it starts off with a creamy and woody undertone, a hint of floral spiciness, a smooth cedary finish and medium-bodied from start to end. The ashes are a bit loose but it never compromises the buttery, creamy and woody flavor profile. While not the most complex cigar of the La Aurora bunch, the Corojo blend is reasonably priced and still delivers a well-balanced, flavorful and quite enjoyable smoke. Well worth a try!
